About Us
PC Game Tweak publishes narrow PC gaming performance notes for players who are trying to fix a real session problem: stutter after a driver update, muddy upscaling, unstable frame pacing, heavy mouse feel, or an overclock that looked fine in a benchmark and failed after an hour.
Effective date: July 15, 2026. The site stays focused on frame-time behavior, graphics-driver settings, display latency, shader cache, storage pressure, and safe rollback steps.
What we publish
We publish guides only when the question can be tested or bounded. A useful page should name the game or hardware class, describe the symptom, show the measurement to watch, and explain when the reader should stop changing settings.
The site is static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. That keeps pages quick to load and makes it easier to keep policy links, contact details, and correction paths visible from every article.
Editorial standards
We do not treat an FPS counter as the whole story. Article drafts are checked for 1% lows, frame-time spikes, driver version, game update timing, VRAM use, input feel, and whether the recommendation can be reversed safely.
Before a guide goes live, it should include a baseline step, a specific setting order, a decision boundary, and a rollback note. If a recommendation depends on hardware class or game behavior, the page says so instead of pretending one preset fits every PC.
How we review content
- We keep higher-FPS, input-lag, shader-cache, and overclocking pages separate so the test method stays specific.
- Patch-sensitive pages get refreshed after major GPU driver, Windows, Fortnite, Apex, Warzone, DLSS, FSR, or frame-generation updates.
- Advertising and privacy disclosures remain separate from settings advice, buying advice, and rollback instructions.
Frame-Time Log
Pages are reviewed around the test scene, game version, driver version, monitor refresh path, 1% low, frame-time spikes, shader behavior, and whether a tweak is reversible.
Driver, DLSS/FSR, shader-cache, Windows game-setting, and overclocking pages get priority after major GPU or game updates.
Funding and disclosure
This site may include contextual advertising. Paid areas are kept visually separate from the main advice and do not change our editorial process.
If a page includes a paid relationship or affiliate reference in the future, the disclosure will stay close to the relevant content so readers can understand the context before acting on the advice.
